Unhappy Troubles with video and flash on Jaunty

I there, I have some troubles with my video and flash on ubuntu 9.04, the windows minimized so slowly, and flash it really sucks, I mean, i even can watch a couple of videos without having a dramatically lost in my computer performance, this is the problem, I think that is maybe because a new video driver or something, does anyone knows how to disable some video feature to increase the performance of gtk? i tried XFCE but the problem continues....i already uninstall all the "compiz" things and everything is still very slow.

    Thanks guys!

You might want to open Terminal Many and post the results of
sudo lspci
So members can see what video card you are running

Punched in your video card and came up with this bug report for 9.04. You might want to look through it

From what I can tell, graphics acceleration even in Ubuntu 8.10 wasn't supported in Ubuntu for your video chip. Don't know if they ever got it fixed in 9.04.
