    Mounted Drives? Where are they?

I have installed Jaunty after a while. My last one was Hardy. Ever since I am using GNOME, the mounted VFAT drives are displayed on the desktop by their mount points, but I don't find them on this desktop. Neither do they appear in Places > Computer. How do I fix it?

If you go to your home folder you should see them listed under places on the left panel.
