    No sound through Headphone jack, Intel audio (ALC663).

    Hey guys, just curious if there is a fix for this problem. I have sound just fine through speakers but nothing when i plug headphones in. *warning* I'm an extremely new linux user. here is my aplay -l output.

    Well, Aren't the Headphone and Speaker jacks same standard 3.5mm.
    Do you get your Headphones working if you plug-in them on rear panel?
    Or just front panel aren't working?
    If your Speakers are working on both front panels, check if your headphones are working.

    The front panel on the PC Cabinet doesn't have to do anything with software.
    check if you have all connections properly.

    Im working with an Asus G50V laptop. two internal / built in spears and three jacks on the side, headphone, line in, mic. There is not a problem with the headphones, they work on everything else, vista, my ipod, etc.
