    [SOLVED] Boot options

a while back i installed ubuntu and i liked it however i chose to uninstall it through windows.

then everytime i turned the pc on i was asked to chose weather i wanted windows xp or windows

i looked on google to see how to stop this and i did what someone told me to do which was to delete the boot option i didnt need.

sinse then ive tried to install ubuntu again but now thers no boot option for it after i install.

nor when when i tried to boot and install ubuntu from the disk .

Hopefully someone might be able to understand this(sorry if im abit vague on the details.

    Welcome to the forums!

Try running the SuperGRUB LiveCD on your box. It can usually correct Windows and Linux bootloader issues, so it might help to fix yours.

You can usually correct Windows bootloader issues with the Windows installation disk, too.

Im sorry i just looked at my start up options in windows and saw that i changed the boot list menu showing time to "0" seconds , so that was why ther wasnt a option.
