    I've had some problems with the nvidia 180 driver on my Ubuntu laptop as well. I don't think it works well with the mobile chip sets. It did work, but I have better results with the default driver. The 173 driver wouldn't work at all and I had to uninstall it. I went to the nVidia site, and they don't even list these drivers for the mobile chip set on my Dell D630 laptop. It's not the 8200M, but ...
    Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
