    [SOLVED] Change User No Net?

    Hi All,

I've never been a real fan of multiple users as it's only my girlfriend and myself using the computer but recently I added a user and started getting her to use her user instead of mine so we can keep bookmarks and such separate.

The issue is that once I log into one user and switch users I can't get internet for the second user....which makes the second user just about useless. I then switch back to the first user and net is up and running no problem.

Any ideas how to approach fixing this? Thanks all

open the users thing, system->administration->users and groups, click properties on her user, make sure under user privileges that connect to wireless and ethernet networks is checked

she does because if I log into her user first then she gets net no problem

edit: I guess i was mistaken :-0 it wasn't checked, going to switch users now to see if it works. Marking as solved. Thanks!
