New To Linux
Hello all,
I just discovered the FREE world on Linux a few weeks ago and it is great. I installed ubuntu on my windows xp pc and all went well. While browsing the book store today I came across the Fedora Project!
I wanted to know if Fedora is the same as ubuntu or different?
Can I install Fedora with ubuntu on my pc?
Any info would be greatly appreciated; I just joined the form so I will be reading as much as I can to get caught up!

The biggest difference in Fedora and Ubuntu are their package tools and management, and the individual packages used. Fedora likes packages in the .rpm format while Ubuntu uses .deb packages.
Yes, you can run more than one distribution on your computer and choose at boot time which one to boot into.
Glad you are having fun with Linux.
