Wireless Network Connection question?
Hi,
Just installed 9.04 and generally quite impressed with the results!
But....A couple of questions regarding my wireless connection. When I boot up I get the box "enter default keying ...." etc. After I enter my password the green WiFi thingy starts whirling and connects me. Is there a way to set it so I dont automatically connect at this point? I dont always want to connect online when I boot up.
The second thing is this. After I enter the password and the green thing goes around it doesent always connect me. Occasionally it I have to click and un enable and then click and enable again to get my network to show. Whats going on here?
I'll try and post more specifically exactly what is/is not happening as I monitor it.
But for now any thoughts?Ubuntu Lucid 10.10

As far as connecting automatically:
System>Preferences>Network Connections>Select Wireless
then select your wireless network, click edit and disable connect automatically
As far as not connecting all the time could be a router reset issue.
