You can install fluxbox on Ubuntu by opening a terminal and typing this code exactly as you see it. Copy/paste if you wish.

    Code:
    sudo apt-get install fluxbox
You after the download and installation you should log out and when you sign back into Ubuntu, Go under sessions and select "Fluxbox" instead of Gnome. Enter your password and you should see a new Fluxbox desktop!

YOu can install gkrellm in a similar way:

    Code:
    sudo apt-get install gkrellm
Remember to be fully connected to the internet and welcome to Linux!

Check out the Ubuntu Fluxbox Community Wiki entry. https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Fluxbox
