    Update problem in ubuntu 9.04

Hi, I have a problem updating my ubuntu 9.04. I get the following error

Failed to fetch http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/...-i386/Packages 404 Not Found [IP: 91.189.88.45 80]
Some index files failed to download, they have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

Can any one tell how to resolve this problem

    Go to System>Administration>Synaptic Package Manager

In Synaptic go to Settings>Repositories and make sure you have a good mirror location selected. Usually the main country server is a good choice.

    Hit Reload.

reed9 explained how to add/select repositories in his post above, but you can find more instructions on working with repositories here:

A repository that works well for one of us might not work well at all for you.
