Exclamation gyachi disconnects immediately after connecting

    Hi,

I am very new to linux, having just wiped out my windows OS and installed jaunty. I am absolutely thrilled and don't ever want to go back. The ONLY thing I am struggling with is my yahoo messenger. I have installed gyachi 1.1.71 and it connects fine, but immediately disconnects. I have a wireless lan and wonder if I should try it over a wired network. I have attached the capture from wireshark.

Hope somebody out there can help. Thanks.

    Cheers,
    Buckbeak

Tried eth0 - same result. I have also tried building gyachi 1.2.0. Again same result. : (

    Solved!

It was because I was adding the "@yahoo.com" qualifier to my user id. When I entered my user name without the @yahoo.com, it worked fine.
