    problem with boot


    when i start up does not get to boot screen message says no signal or cable disconnected i power down if i leave power off for some time it might boot could it be bios or ram problem i have pentium 4 running ubuntu 9.04 gendan 1

    Sounds like a graphics card problem. Boot up any LiveCD and post the output of these commands please.

    boot problem

    thanks mike i think i found the problem installed mint 7 think its 64 bit ran ok but think shuting down caused memory problem seems ok now sorry for delay mobile brodband problem think i need to uninstall mint7
