Here's the update
I tested speakers on all channels. OSS is the only mixer that correctly emits audio...
Buuuut... the sound comes from My main speakers (really Loud!) when no headphones are plugged in, and with Headphones, it comes for m the onboard system speaker...

Anyone know whats up?

Also, master volume does not control the volume, the PCM does...

And even though... it doesn't play back sound.

Here's my specs: I have a soundmax soundcard, On an HP compaq D330 DT...
Ok, I just tried with the headphones unplugged it still comes through the onboard..,


What I want it to do is play all sound through the dual external speakers, unless I plug in the headphones, and be able to be controlled through the main Volume contro...
