Good day. I'm using Xubuntu and I loves it! Loves it! I'm trying to un-mute my volume on startup. Anyone know? Thanx much in advance....

    DO you have xfce4-mixer? Try installing that if you do not have it already.

    Have you tried using the xfce-mixer to unmute the sounds? I don't think Xbuntu has alsa installed by default but if it does you can use alsamixer command to try unmuting.

    Had a problem with the sound always muting when starting Xubuntu.

    Removing the beast fixed it for me!

    For some reason (possibly the / at the end) it is putting a [/url at the end of itwhich is breaking it. Not sure if it will do the same without a url tag...

    I removed PulseAudio and rebooted. Computer came back WITHOUT mute on.
