Good day.
I'm using Xubuntu and I loves it! Loves it!
I'm trying to un-mute my volume on startup.
Anyone know?
Thanx much in advance....

DO you have xfce4-mixer? Try installing that if you do not have it already.

Have you tried using the xfce-mixer to unmute the sounds? I don't think Xbuntu has alsa installed by default but if it does you can use alsamixer command to try unmuting.

Had a problem with the sound always muting when starting Xubuntu.
Removing the beast fixed it for me!If we hit that bullseye, the rest of the dominoes will fall like a house of cards. Checkmate! (Zapp Brannigan)
My new blog. It's probably not as good as I think it is.

Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty – Keeping the beast Pulseaudio at bay Tux’s idyllic life.
For some reason (possibly the / at the end) it is putting a [/url at the end of itwhich is breaking it. Not sure if it will do the same without a url tag...If we hit that bullseye, the rest of the dominoes will fall like a house of cards. Checkmate! (Zapp Brannigan)
