there are a lot of browsers,

    seamonkey
    galleon
    opera
    swiftfox

you should just run this command in terminal:

    sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extras

that may be an easy fix for firefox
    Bodhi 1.3 & Bodhi 1.4 using E17
Dell Studio 17, Intel Graphics card, 4 gigs of RAM, E17

Opera works very well for me. You may also want to try Epiphany.

Tried Opera indeed nice browser but there i can see the actual problem regarding JavaScript not enabled

I have enabled java script with Error console so there i see

    message: INVALID_CHARACTER_ERR

because of this error i am not able to do any thing related to Java script

Can any buddy please guide me how to resolve this?

I agree. Epiphany is a great web browser. It's fully native to GNOME so it launches faster and is generally more responsive than Firefox, and the current version uses the Gecko layout engine so it should display pages the same as Firefox.
