    i have disabled my all the user privileges on my ubuntu laptop and i am not able to enable them? how can i sort this problem

    Welcome to the forums!

    You should be able to reset any regular user permissions as needed if you gain root permissions using su, sudo, or gksudo.

    How did you disable them?
    Did you do this for the first user you setup when installing ubuntu?

    If you go to |main menu->System->Administration->Users and Groups| and click the "Unlock" button and use the password you would for sudo, then click "Properties", you can configure those options, also - if this is what you mean ...
