Internet sharing between PC and PS3

I have the main Ethernet port and I bought another PCI Ethernet card and installed it. I have the Ethernet cable coming from the wall to my computer and I have the PS3 hooked up from the PCI Ethernet to the PS3 via another Ethernet cable. When I turn the PS3 on the PS3 finds the ip address and the Ubuntu network manager says the the connection was established but not internet.

    Need some help, any ideas??

    Thanks.
