[SOLVED] No Panels!
Can someone please help!

BOTH my Panels are missing in Ubuntu 9.04...
It's never done this before, I don't know what's wrong!
I recently did a Janitor's clean, and after a few other things, I turned of the PC for the night... Could I be missing an important file? PLEASE help...
I don't know how to access any application or, even get it back!
There was one thing I never noticed at boot-up though...
The Grub loader. I've never noticed it load before... Could be a coincidence...
I'm just a newbie, so I pressed ESC, picked the recovery mode Kernel, and checked file systems, launched repair, and upgrade, nothing happened...

I don't know much about the terminal though...

Press Alt+F2 and type this
Do both panels appear?Code:gnome-panel
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It said, This program 'Gnome Panel' is not installed!
It tells me where to install it though...
I think I may have un-installed it by un-installing Epiphany.
Which can't be removed unless other programs are removed. Ubuntu desktop was in the list, but I thought it just meant the icon for epiphany.
How do I stop this in the future, without having to re install the Gnome Panels?
Thank you so much for your help!

Thanks soooo much!
Only one thing is missing. The fast user switch applet.
upon login it said that fast user switch applet had encountered a problem...
It asked if I wanted to delete it or keep it.
It's not there. How do I get it back?
Thanks so much for your help!
I really appreciate it!

Right click on Panel and select Add to Panel option ( Or something like that ). An Applet list will appear. Select Fast User Switch applet from the list. There are a lot of useful applets available in the list.
To remove any applet from Panel, just right click on applet and select Remove. It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

Log out applets
Here's the result.
I rebooted, and an error message appeared (see attachment)
So because the applet encountered a problem, I can't find it in the list...
There's another one called Log out... But it's not as good as the Fast user switch applet installed by default...
I'm willing to go with that though.
It never usually used to be in the list. But only because it wasn't removable.
Thanks!
