    Post ubuntu without internet

    Hi,

    I have a windows machine with internet connection where I have downloaded different UBUNTU softwares like AMAROK. I want to install this downloaded software on other machine with UBUNTU.

    How can I do this. In windows it is easy just we have to run setup. What about UBUNTU?

    Code:
    dpkg -i amarok
    But it might not work because of dependency problem. You have to download and install all dependencies too.

    I would suggest you follow instructions from here for package installation.

    * Replace upgrade with install amarok in all commands.
    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
