    Ubuntu live cd download help

    I am new to Linux tried to download the Ubuntu live cd twice from two different mirrors.

    When I check the integrity of the cd, I get this.

    Bug: Int 14.CR2 C1000000
    EDI c1000000 ESI 000000 EBPC0737f50 ESPC0731f14
    two more lines of errors then this

    Stack: ff78f000 ffffffff 00000001 00000002
    two more lines of errors

    Any ideas as to why I am getting these errors?
    Thanks for the help in advance. I can get Gentoo to download and burn just fine.

    I wonder if you would have better luck downloading it from a torrent or another download location. It could just be that that particular site had some trouble the day you tried it.

    Or you could order the CD and probably can't go wrong that way! They ship for free, but if you're in a hurry you can buy a CD for super cheap and have it alot sooner. I'm going to order some to share and get me a little Ubuntu hat and hoodie too, to support the project.

    I'm a total newbie who probably shouldn't be trying to answer questions but I see that yours wasn't answered after a whole day... Hopefully I helped a little.

    What are you using to check the integrity of the CD? That looks more like a software crash than anything else.

    Did you check the md5 of the iso you downloaded?
    If that's OK you should try burning at a lower speed. Sometimes that helps.
