hey i finally managed to install amsn but now i can't find it.... lol does anyone know where it could have saved on my netbook?...

hey i finally managed to install amsn but now i can't find it.... lol does anyone know where it could have saved on my netbook?

Hehe, I just use pidgin.
Anyway, when something doesn't appear on the menu after installing (as sometimes happens), try opening a terminal window and typing it on the line. If it works, you know the program has been installed, and maybe you can create an icon for it on your desktop.
Even if it doesn't work right off, doesn't mean it didn't install; some things don't install as typical binaries and need some searching (this is typical of some KDE programs).

well... actually i don't have to worry about any more things.. because now the netbook won't even turn on lmao! not even going to attempt to fix it, i shall take it back to the store and they can take it from there
gutted.... lol

The story of a crashing netbook sounds familiar.
By the way, aMSN should have been under internet in the menu applications.
