Xfce 4.6+ and Firefox 3.5 on Hardy?

    Hi,

I'm using Xubuntu Hardy and have no plans to upgrade until the next LTS release. I would, however, like to have the latest version of Xfce and Firefox. For the most part I only use software from the repositories and don't want to break my installation by removing Xfce and installing it manually. Same with Firefox. Which brings me to my question: Will Xfce 4.6 (or better) and Firefox 3.5 (or better) be made available in the Hardy repositories, and if so, how soon?

    Thank you.

8.04 Repositories will be updated till April 2011
Its not advisable to compile and install whole Desktop Environment from Source.
Because after that you will need to update it from the same way.

While you can use Firefox 3.5 generic binaries..that wont make any huge difference.
    Never make any misteaks.
