nokia accessing n yahoo messenger

pls help me regardin followi queries..

1] how can i browse my nokia 7610(old) gallary n messages thru cable from ubuntu8.10??, gnokii doesnt works here

2] how can i use IM of yahoo thru ubuntu 8.10???, pidgin doesnt workss

2. What error do you get with pidgin?
You can use kopete, empathy, gyache etc.

pigdin shows tat its connecting but it doesnt..im offline to others n imnt recievin any IMs...problem is only wit yahoo..gtalk workss quite normally

Try gyache. Though it's development is stopped now, but still it offers more features for yahoo IM. gyachi.sourceforge.net/
