Hello,
I have a Ubuntu 9.04 host running Solaris 10 on VirtualBox 2.1.4. My goal is to be able to use a serial connection between the host and guest in order to run commands and scripts. I have setup the guest serial port settings with COM1, host pipe to /tmp/vboxS0. Is this correct? How do i get ubuntu to talk to this port?

Once the connection is there, what is the best way to send script commands through the serial connection to be run on the guest machine?
