Sound suddenly cut out in 8.04 Hardy Heron
Have no idea why, but the sound on my system suddenly died.
It was working well for month, but is now gone on, as far as I can
tell, every device and application.
I did:
"asoundconf list"
The sound card is simply listed
as "Intel"
Anyone have any ideas about either the cause or the solution?
