    [SOLVED] Frozen Desktop every 30secs

    Hi team!!

Im on a really weird position... since the last 3 days... When im working on the system, it gets frozen every 30 secs for about 5secs, after this it countinue working normally and so on...

I tried swaping the desktop enviorment, from XFCE4 to GNOME... but keeps doing the same on both...

I left the top command open, to track all currents jobs and processes and i dont see any anyone eating more CPU or RAM that it should be...

On a fist instance I tough that could be related to an overhearing hardware problem, but it keeps doing the same...

    Any ideas?

Sounds like a graphics problem. What is your hardware? Open terminal and execute these:
    Code:
    lspci | grep -i vga
    grep -i driver /etc/X11/xorg.conf
Also which version of ubuntu are you using?
