    Simple check imap mail client

Anyone know of a slim, trim, simple (imap) email client for ubuntu?

I typically use T-bird, but I simply need a client that will check almost 60 mailboxes on the same domain for new email. I don't need any 'bells and whistles'. I would like to not have to create 60 accounts and open every one of them just to check for new mail.

    TIA

There is claws-mail, but you will have to create all of the IMAP accounts. It is a very small email client. It is about the same a T-Bird; you can set T-Bird to automatically check for new mail at intervals.

The other options you have depending on your DE is email checkers like Plasmoids for KDE4.x, they are also different email checkers for other DE's, but you will still need to enter all of the email details.

If you give me more information as to what exactly you are looking for I will be able to help you further.

The other option is if the email accounts are on a linux server, you can log into the webmail interface as the main account and you will see all of the email addresses and you will be able to see all of the new emails as they come in.

    Cheers!

    eTech97......eh?

The email accounts are on a Free BSD server.

I wrote a small php script to check all the boxes and post the results on my own (private) web page. I set up all 50-some boxes in Evoluion on my Linux and just open the boxes with unread mail. I now need to modify my script to be able to have the option to reset the 'unread' boxes when I send out bulk email to them.

    Thanks for the response.........Ron
