install wireless driver
newbie question. I put ubuntu on my HP to replace Win XP, and am up and running fine except for the built in wireless. There is a linux driver for the intel 2200 adapter, but I have no idea what to do with the file once I hit extract from the download. I'm used to windows xp and going to the device manager to update the driver, but when I go to hardware manager nothing shows up. similarly for networking. it shows my ethernet connection but not my wireless. Although it does show one unknown. If someone can let me know how to install a driver in Linux it will make my wife think I'm smart(er)
