    Pc freezes

    Hi every one. I have recently installed 9.04 Jaunty. Every time I try to open or read or watch a dvd I get full system freeze. I cannot do anything but restart the pc. I am wondering if any one can help. I have next to no experience with LINUX. Please keep it simple. Thanks in advance.

    Some information please. What make+model is your computer? Did you install the libdvdcss package (needed to decode commercial DVDs)? What video player are you using?
    Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
