    Music problems..?

When my computer got lots of viruses on Windows and died, my brother put Linux (Kubuntu is the type that I have, I think) on my computer, and I can not figure out how to play music on it.
I put in my CD and opened Audio Player (Amarok) and a little window popped up with a folder called "dxr" and files (single files, not folders) called "AUTORUN.INF", "stub.exe", and "WDRI.icon". I have no idea how to play CDs on Linux, and I was wondering if there's a problem with my computer or something and if any of you could help...?

Hello and Welcome to the Forums.
That CD you have, if there is music on it, there must be folders on the CD. Based on the file names that you provided, I don't think this is a valid music CD. It might be some type of Installer for a Windows Media Player or something.
Try just a regular Music CD, Amarok will play these just fine.
