    Exclamation need help loading kernel in GRUB

    i need help loading the kernel in grub so i can boot unbuntu on my dell mini. please some one help.

    Hello and Welcome!

    First, open up a terminal and execute this command:
    Code:
    sudo cat /boot/grub/menu.lst
    Paste the output here.

    Is this going to be the only OS installed on the computer? Or will it be part of a Dual-Boot setup?

    i cant open terminal i am stuck in grub i need help getting out of grub when i type boot

    it says you have to load kerenel to boot

    Try booting from a LiveCD, then get the info that Jay asked for.

    i dont have a live cd plus its on a dell min i with no cd drive and i cant skip grub because i set a hdd password

    You set a GRUB password? Or are you talking about the root password?

    Can you get grub into edit mode?
