I am on Ubuntu 8.04 LTS and using Evolution mail client.
My folder named "Sourcng Validated1" is missing from Evolution. please help me to recover it.

Evolution Folder Missing
Hi,
I am on Ubuntu 8.04 LTS and using Evolution mail client.
My folder named "Sourcng Validated1" is missing from Evolution. please help me to recover it.
I checked in /home/bharath/.evolution/mail/local -- it has the following(concerned files):

But in evolution I am not able to see...... I have lot of info in this folder....
I have posted the same on Ubuntuforums...

You may have deleted it by mistake. You can recover your folder using testdisk. Google up and download this thing. Then execute the main file:
cd to testdisk-x.xx/linux
then run sudo ./testdisk_static
Follow the onscreen instructions this way:
No Log > Proceed > Intel > Analyze > Quick Search > then your partitions will be listed. Select the one for your home folder then proceed to the bharath/.evolution/path/to/your/folder
You'll probably see the deleted files in red. You can press copy to restore it."When you have nothing to say, say nothing."

Thanks for your reply. Will try that.
But I am sure I have not deleted it and also I can see files in ~/.evolution folder.... they are there, I guess when I deleted these files will also be deleted.....
