    Question IDE Installation

I have XP installed on my SATA Drive in Raid0 and I have a drive plugged into my IDE slot with nothing on it. Can I install Ubunto 9.04 on the IDE drive? Has anyone done this and if so how would I boot up to my IDE drive. Also, would grub look at my IDE drive at bootup?

One option is to have Ubuntu instaled on the IDE drive, then change the boot sequence in your BIOS to boot the IDE drive first. Ubuntu will also allow booting to the XP OS via Grub.
