Error when installing any programs, help plox.
Running Ubuntu 9.04. Im somewhat of a linux newbe, i have some idea of what I'm doing, but not that much. Anyway, i get the following error when attempting to install any packages, when installing through terminal, package installer, or auto installers:
I read something about a file corruption in some install dir, but who knows (hopefully you guys do).E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'sudo dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem.
E: _cache->open() failed, please report.
Any help is greatly appreciated, since this problem has been preventing me from installing anything.
