Ok, so I did the upgrade from Jaunty to Karmic. After reboot, it said that it could not locate device and ran across a bunch of errors. Asked if wanted to fix errors, I said yes. At the end it said that filesystem was changed. After reboot, it loaded the karmic splash screen, but then automatically loads Xubuntu (I have that and Kubuntu installed). When I logout, instead of asking which sessions to use (Gnome, Xcfe or KDE), it just goes right back to Xubuntu. Funny thing is that it is loading all my Ubuntu settings, including desktop wallpaper. I want to reload Jaunty, but not sure how to go about doing it short of wiping the partition and fresh installing it, but don't want to risk going through another GRUB loading error nightmare again. Ideas?

******UPDATE********
After starting up Xubuntu, it says that there is a major upgrade available so I start it up. Rebooted and now Karmic works just fine. But, now when logging out the KDE and Xcfe does not show up, just Ubuntu starting up again. But that's ok. I like it better than the other distros.
