    Ubuntu install problems

    I burnt the image onto a dvd because it was the only disc I had with the required space. When I go to boot the computer from the cd it shows a startup screen but just shows a headliner and under it is just says "boot". What am I doing wrong here, I really would like to get this going ASAP. Thank you in advance for your help.

    How did you burn its .iso image? It must be burned as an Image only. Post your machine's specs here.
