Ubuntu 9.04 bitTorrent client problem
Hello all,
I've been gone for six months and just got back home from the Army. So the new laptop i got i just installed 9.04. Everything is working great except i cant seem to download torrents. The client program i use is deluge. It is the newest release. I also have the custom ports unblocked on my firewall/router. Its a netgear fvs318 and ports 27127 to 27135 are opened up both inbound and out bound to my static IP 192.168.0.8. This setup worked fine six months ago one my old laptop but i was using 8.04. I'm currently baffled as to why no torrents work now???? Could my ISP be blocking torrents?? I currently have Comcast in Ann Arbor, MI. I'm going to test this with my wifes xp machine today. Also, if the ISP is blocking it can you set up some kind of encryption to fool them? Any help or direction would be much appreciated.
