    [SOLVED] Trying to dual boot...

    If you can help...

Tried to install EEEbuntu Standard 3 on an Asus EPC900HDB with Windows XP Home, but had an aborted installation.

Live Gparted allowed the removal of the two aborted partitions.

It is now showing the following:

    /dev/sda1 ntfs 78.24GiB

    /dev/sda3 extended 70.77GiB
    /dev/sda5 ext3 58.59GiB
    /dev/sda8 ext3 /home 2.38GiB
    /dev/sda7 ext3 / 7.03GiB Flag: boot
    /dev/sda6 Linux-swap 2.77GiB

    /dev/sda2 unknown 31.38GiB

    Eeebuntu is loaded on: /dev/sda5 ext3 58.59GiB
However, when I try to boot, get:
    Grub loading stage 1.5
Then, it gives an Error 15.

How does one access Grub to install to MBR on /dev/sda1?

    If the following is used:
    gksu gedit /boot/grub/menu.lst

Nothing shows up, it is blank.

What sort of code would need to be entered so that the system will dual boot?

    Thanks much for your assistance!!
