Desktop menu (start) bar in ubuntu
I have been running a version of linux called kill bill and I was told that this is a variation of ubuntu. I know it looks like ubuntu when I log in. Anyways, my ex, trying to do something nice for me, decided to dust my laptop while it was still on. The top "start" bar, as it is called in windows, is now gone and I cannot launch any programs or shut down the computer. I figure that dusting the keyboard caused this problem so I figure there is a key combination shortcut to show or remove this bar. Can anyone please let me know what the combination is?
