media player
Hi,
I`m running Ubuntu 9.04 on a Dell Latitude laptop 840. No matter which media player I use (rhythmbox is my favourite) they interfere with YouTube. If I restart the laptop, and if I use Utube first, then, rhythmbox will not play. By the same token, after a restart, if I use rhythmbox first, then Utube won`t play. I guess either one will prevent the other from sharing resources. I`ve tried about 6 different players with the same result. This is all except Audacity. Audacity for whatever reason will share with Utube. I`m a newbie with Linux. Any assistance is appreciated.

Typed the command
Hi,
I typed the command as requested, and the result was:
Your ALSA information is located at
Please inform the person helping you.
That`s it. It did not give a location. That doesn`t sound correct does it?

All the sound configuration details are uploaded on website, then it gives you a url, You should post that url here.
So we can see whats wrong.
You must have internet connection to that machine to upload the information.
