Need help installing wubi
I have a question I'm a newbie to Linux OS, but I'm trying to install wubi on a windows XP desktop and it says I only have 226 MB of ram but it needs 250 should i just go ahead an install it anyway because it will let me do that. Another question is when u get to the installer page it ask uhow big u want the file to be 7 gigs, 8,etc. What should the average size be. I have 45 gigs free on my hard drive.
Thank u

These are the requirements for ubuntu.

You are higher than the bare minimum requirements, but still below recommended. You should know that your system may run below full speed because of this. 10gb disk should be enough, that would allow the 4-5gb for the OS and applications and then 5gb for your own personal files.
