    apt-get error

    Hello everyone
    whenever i try to install any package from apt-get , after the program is installed.i got the following error
    Setting up mailscanner (4.74.16-1) ...
    Checking/installing report files ...
    i am getting this ever since i try to install it. i dont need it anymore can anyone suggest me how to get rid of this error message

    apt-get --purge remove mailscanner
    apt-get autoclean
