I'm new to linux,
When i try to watch videos on you tube, or anywhere, sometimes they don't work. Or they are real choppy.
It certainly didn't do that when ...

Video PRoblem with Ubuntu .. . . . ?????
I'm new to linux,
When i try to watch videos on you tube, or anywhere, sometimes they don't work. Or they are real choppy.
It certainly didn't do that when i was running windows, I know its not the internet speed.
Any recomendations?

Just guessing here, but you might need to install or enable the proprietary drivers for your video card if you haven't done so already.

My video card is built into my motherboard.......
Would i still need to find the drivers for it?
I have never used a linux product before.

Which version of Ubuntu are you using?
I'm guessing you have an integrated Intel graphics card. Performance problems with Intel cards is a well known issue. If you google, you'll find many guides for working around the trouble and it should be mostly resolved (though some people still have trouble I guess) in Ubuntu 9.10.
