    Using server files

I am a new user to Ubuntu and so far, I am happy. I installed WINE in order to run QuickBooks Online edition (needs IE support to Firefox for Windows) and that went smooth.

My last need for a Windows program is Quicken. I have the program installed and it runs. The problem is my data files are on another machine. I am able to mount the drive but when I try to have the Quicken program look for files, none of the mounted drives appear. I looked through the Ubuntu Handbook and I cannot find the answer.

That is the problem. When the drive is mounted, it does not show in the drop downs. Yet, when I look at my desktop or the file browser (Ubuntu), the drives are all there. Wierd!

I'm confused, did you add your drives in the wine configuration and they aren't showing up now for your wine applications? I highly doubt that is the case, that would be a severe bug.

I accessed (mounted) the drives through the file manager in Ubuntu. When I go to the WINE configuration, I only see the drive in the laptop. None of the mounted drives appear, I can only see Drive "C" and "D".

this is why I said you need to add them in winecfg under the drives tab, you need to map a windows drive to one of your directories

Sorry I was such a dunderhead! I was not looking in the correct place. That did the trick. Thanks for being so patient.
