have no sound/ ubuntu 9.04
Hi, guys
i recently bought a new DELL Studio Laptop. I had windows vista installed. Today i installed ubuntu 8.1 from life CD, then i upgraded it online to ubuntu 9.04.
The problem is that i don't have the sound at all. Can somebody help me with this issue, please?

I would really apreciate somebody to take a look at the steps i made, using the link given by Ozar. I am not an advanced linux user yet
my first step was:

i also have downloaded the gnome alsa mixer, everything is on here
