Hi and Welcome !
Have you installed Nvidia Proprietary driver through Hardware Drivers option available in Administrative Menu?
Press Alt+Ctrl+F3. Dose it switch to command line mode? Execute thisUbuntu runs fine till i load the nvidia driver and then when i reboot i have a blank screen.
Post output here.Code:sudo lspci | grep -i vga grep - i driver /etc/X11/xorg.conf
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
