    Cannot install sound driver

    Hi
    I have installed Ubuntu 8.04 LTS. My sound card is Realtek HD. I cannot install sound driver. Upto configuring there is no problem. But when I try to compile using make command the following result pops up

    make dep
    make[1]: Entering directory `/home/anchit/realtek-linux-audiopack-5.13/alsa-driver-1.0.21'
    make[2]: Entering directory `/home/anchit/realtek-linux-audiopack-5.13/alsa-driver-1.0.21/acore'

    Okay, 'Troubleshooting 101'.

    First, try restarting your computer and reinstalling the driver. If this doesn't work, then we go step-by-step installation.
