xen on hardy
Hi all,
I installed the xen kernel on hardy
But i cant install the ubuntu-xen-desktop
It requires xenman requires xen-utils requires xenstore-utils which requires libxenstore3
I had none of these in the rep and got the debs off the net
But the libxentore wont install cos it says libxenstore.so is already installed but xenstore-utils still requires it
Anybody?

I really cannot recommend xen these days. For one thing, a lot of video drivers don't support xen-enabled kernels. I have had very good luck with Sun's VirtualBox VM manager on a variey of Linux systems. It does use a kernel loadable module, but doesn't require any modifications to the kernel itself. I use it to run XP, Solaris, and to test a variety of Linux distributions.

Time for you to do some googling. Have you installed the xen packages yet? It might not be in the standard repository, but you should be able to get it by installing the optional repos.
