    [SOLVED] Can't seem to upgrade,

Today's the launch of Ubuntu 9.10 (to my surprise). I can't seem to upgrade, because when I do via Update Manager, I get a message saying "Could not download the release notes. Please check your internet connection." I had just done a system update in preparation for this not five minutes before, so this boggles my mind. I even tried sudo apt-get dist-upgrade, and the process stalled on me there. What can I do? Might the server be swamped, preventing a connection? Is it something on my end, even though I've performed a few updates, as well as installed software, and done many downloads? Any help would be appreciated.

I'm sure they're swamped. It took all day for me to download the sha256sums text file...

Just wait for a few hours. It will work fine.
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

Okay, that's what I thought. They know how to stop up the works, eh?

    Got in, updating now.
