[SOLVED] Screen going blank after 5 minutes -- Fujitsu Siemens Li2727 Laptop

I'm now running Ubuntu Karmic on my laptop but have noticed that my screen is going blank after 5 minutes of idle. I have set the Power Management settings in Gnome to always display screen, but I still have the same problems. Is this a known bug with certain Graphics Drivers?

    Thanks in advance

The screen's brought back to life with a tap of a key or a move of a mouse...

Yeah I've checked the both the AC and battery on the power management but no joy. I'm a bit of an amateur but I've been told about the xorg.conf aswell. Could I add something to that?

it's not an xorg issue, did you check the screensaver settings?

Thank you so much for your help! It was the screesaver settings, I really am an idiot! I'm kinda new to the whole Linux thing and I've been getting a bit carried away...

Thank you for your common sense!
